Electricity feeders serving the Isheri and Olowora axis were listed for prolonged load shedding in an October 5 notice on Ikeja Electric’s network fault register, although their current supply status remains unconfirmed.

The company’s Shomolu register identifies Bankole, Isheri, Orisha and Unilag among six affected feeders grouped under its Magodo undertaking. The other two are Alausa–OPIC and Oke-Aro–Akute, whose coverage extends beyond the Kosofe area.

The entry records a supply problem affecting circuits serving communities in the wider Kosofe area. It does not establish a blackout across Magodo or specify every affected street.

Ikeja Electric describes the issue as prolonged load shedding but gives no cause, daily supply schedule or expected restoration date in the entry.

For customers connected to those feeders, a clear supply timetable would help households plan domestic activities and allow businesses to budget for alternative power.

As of October 13, KIO could not confirm whether the disruption recorded on October 5 had been resolved. The available notice also does not establish that customers experienced two uninterrupted weeks without electricity.

The unresolved issue is the present position: whether supply has improved and, where restrictions remain, what customers should expect from Ikej

a Electric.
