Voters across Kosofe have until today, Thursday, October 15, to check their names and polling-unit details on INEC’s preliminary voters’ register and raise claims or objections.
The deadline applies to the nationwide register-display exercise, which began on October 9 ahead of the 2027 general elections. It gives residents an opportunity to identify registration errors and challenge the inclusion of ineligible persons.
For voters in Kosofe, Agboyi-Ketu and Ikosi-Isheri, the immediate task is to confirm that their details appear correctly, particularly where they have requested a transfer or updated their registration information.
Residents who find missing or incorrect details should bring them to the attention of INEC officials handling claims and objections at their designated registration-area centres.
Lagos Resident Electoral Commissioner Ayobami Salami reiterated the October 9–15 timetable while representing the INEC chairman at a media conference in Lagos. KIO has not independently confirmed operating hours at individual Kosofe centres.
Today’s deadline should not be confused with the end of all Permanent Voter Card collection. PVC collection continues beyond the register-display period.
