More than 100 young people have been registered for the federal government’s Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalisation Programme (YEIDEP) through an exercise facilitated by Omoadugbo Progressive Movement, according to the group.
The exercise provides a route for the participants to seek economic support under the national initiative, which aims to tackle youth unemployment and poverty through skills development and enterprise opportunities.
The movement’s involvement brings the registration process closer to young people seeking opportunities to build livelihoods, start businesses or strengthen existing ventures.
Registration is the first step towards participation.
For those registered, the next stage will be confirmation of their application status and further instructions from the programme’s organisers.
