The Mayor Dele Oshinowo Foundation, in collaboration with Seyi Tinubu, Esq., has announced a free healthcare programme for 4,000 residents across Kosofe Federal Constituency.
The initiative, Kosofe Cares, will run from 30 October to 7 November 2026, bringing health insurance, medical screenings, medication and professional consultations closer to communities across Greater Kosofe.
The programme builds on the foundationβs free health insurance initiative, which organisers say has supported more than 4,000 residents over the past year, helping beneficiaries access care without the added worry of medical bills.
Returning under a new name, Kosofe Cares continues that commitment, with services covering everyday health concerns and opportunities for residents to better understand their health.
Available services will include:
- Free health insurance and medication.
- Free tuberculosis testing.
- Free blood sugar and blood pressure checks.
- Free medical consultations and professional advice.
- Free eye checks and eyeglasses.
Beyond the screenings, residents will have the opportunity to speak with healthcare professionals, discuss their results and receive guidance on the next steps for their care.
According to the organisers, the programme aims to reduce the financial burden of medical expenses and help more families access essential healthcare closer to home.
Residents across the three council areas are encouraged to share the announcement with relatives, friends and neighbours so that more people can benefit from the outreach.
